For some reasons, these old photos of my past trip to Blue Mountain Australia, keeps appearing in my Google Photo’s throwback memories. We visited this scenic site about three years ago and until today I still hold a fond recollection of this place.
I remember we started our day trip to Blue Mountain super early at around 4 am in the morning to catch the earliest train departing from Sydney’s central railway station. During our 2 hours train ride, we got to see a lot of wonderful suburbs of west region of Sydney and I remember joking about moving to one of those suburb houses and live there when I’m old and tired of city-living. It actually doesn’t seem like a bad idea at all, to be honest.
Among many amazing trails and viewing spots that Blue Mountain has, the most well-known is The Three Sisters, Blue Mountain’s iconic unusual rock formation. It is towering above the Jamison Valley and its viewing platforms are always filled with tourists during normal days.
To tell the truth, these photographs didn’t even capture half of the beauty Blue Mountain really is. The real thing is WAY better, more beautiful, magnificent, and just truly breathtaking. It offers one of the most spectacular scenery I have ever seen. This is one of the place where you just have to be there to really experience and appreciate the beauty of it.
I love everything about this trip. The rides, the walks, the views, oh it’s all just great. A simple trip, but one that I’ll never forget.
